The Master of Cyber Security is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills to protect digital infrastructure, detect and mitigate cyber threats, and lead security initiatives in complex organizational environments. With a strong foundation in both technical and strategic aspects of cyber security, the program prepares graduates for leadership roles in a fast-evolving field.
To earn the Master of Cyber Security, students must complete 14 units (200 credit points), comprising 12 core units (175 credit points) and 2 electives (25 credit points).
The capstone unit of this degree is a project-based unit in which students work in teams to apply a solution to an industry driven challenge. The project will have a substantial emphasis on technology application. Student teams will select a Cyber security project and will work closely with the industry partner to address the problem identified.
Students have the flexibility to choose from a wide range of electives offered by BUC, allowing you to tailor your academic experience to your interests and career goals.
Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in IT stream
(Bachelor’s Degree in any stream + 2 years relevant IT experience)
